CATHEDRAL SUMMER FAYRE HELP NEEDED!
A small group of volunteers is needed to organise and run this year's Summer Fayre. If you would like to be involved please speak to Father David.

MARRIAGE SUNDAY
Next Sunday there will be an opportunity for all married couples at our Sunday Masses to receive a blessing on their union. This might be an opportunity to bring spouses along!

CALLING ALL STUDENTS OF UNIVERSITY OF PORTSMOUTH
This Thursday 9 Feb members of the Catholic Society invites you to come skating at Gosport Ice Rink. Cost: £12-14 for transport and admission. For further details: angela.odonoghue@port.ac.uk

CATHEDRAL BEREAVEMENT GROUP
The Cathedral Bereavement Group meets on the first Thursday of each month at 0945 in St John’s Room and afterwards at 1030 in the Coffee Shop. Anyone who is feeling the isolation or suffering from bereavement is invited to come along and share friendship and company with like-minded people.

SENIOR CITIZENS' PARTY
St Edmund's School Year 10 Hospitality students will organise this year's Senior Citizens' Party on Thursday 9 February from 1400-1600. All Senior Citizens of all parishes are invited. It is always an enjoyable occasion and there will again be food, drink, entertainment and activities. If you would like to attend please put your name on the list provided after Mass today. It's your last chance!

ADORATION OF BLESSED SACRAMENT
You are invited to make a commitment to Jesus to spend an hour in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament every Friday between 0800-1800. So do not be discouraged at finding prayer difficult. Prayer is not about having heavenly sensations. It is standing in poverty before the One who loves us. Ian Petit, OSB

PARENTS GROUP
The Parents Group meets on Thursdays in the Abingdon Room from 1000-1130. The Group enables parents and carers to meet up and get to know each other while the children play. All welcome.
