SONGS OF PRAISE – PORTSMOUTH

Karen Hannah, the Producer of BBC Songs of Praise has written to all churches in Portsmouth to invite members of the congregation to attend two television recordings from St Mary’s Church, Portsea for Easter Sunday 2012 and two further programmes later this year.

Combined Choir Rehearsal: Wednesday 29 February 1830-2130 St Mary’s Church, Fratton.

Television Camera Recording for Portsmouth: Tuesday 13 March 1900-2200 St Mary’s Church, Fratton.

Television Camera Recording for Easter: Wednesday 14 March 1830-2230 St Mary’s Church, Fratton.

Admission is by free ticket. However, these must be applied for in advance.

If you wish to attend please let Fr Steven have your name and contact information by Wednesday 15 February. If you wish to sing in the combined choir, please state if you are a soprano, alto, tenor or bass.

BOOK OF INTERCESSORY PRAYER

In each of our churches, near the Lady Altar, is placed a book in which we are invited to write any intentions we may have. Each week the parish will pray for the intentions recorded in these books.
